Each pebble is carefully selected and hand-sorted according to color, size and shape in order to ensure the highest quality pebble tile available. The stones are attached to a sturdy mesh backing using non-toxic, environmentally safe glue. Because of the unique pattern in which our tile is created they fit together seamlessly when installed so you can't tell where one tile ends and the next begins! Usage: Shower floor, bathroom floor, general flooring, backsplashes, swimming pools, patios, fireplaces and more. Interior & exterior. Commercial & residential. Details: Sheet Backing: Mesh Sheet Dimensions: 12 x 12 Pebble size: Approx 1/4 to 1/2 Thickness: Approx 1/4 Finish: Green Natural
Mini Sea Green PebbleDifficult material to work with. Do not get it wet prior to grouting. It will de-laminate from the mesh backing. The saw-tooth edges are OK but ultimately you are going to have to place pebbles in the voids one at a time by hand. Hint: We used Loctite construction adhesive and Q-tips to dab it on each pebble. After it dries you can use a Dremmel to trim off any over slop of glue. We also did a light acidic wash before sealing and then grouted. Take your time. Do not be in a rush it is well worth the finished results.

Pebble shower is most dramatic part of our bathroom remodelUsed pebble tiles for shower floor and wall with shower arm and faucet - it is lovely to look at while I shower. No concern about slipping on the shower floor anymore, but pebbles are comfortable enough. I have some concern about cleaning the pebbles and whether mildew/mold will develop in time. Our contractor made a special effort to pitch the shower with slope towards drain so the water will not puddle very long. He was "going out of my mind" to get the spacing right with tiles, but was very pleased with the appearance when he finished.

beautiful look, but difficult to work withWe used this tile on our shower floor, in our nitches and on our shower seat, and as a border on curb. I should have opened both boxes and sorted because I have two different colors and the difference is quite obvious. I have completed the nitches and have one box left...five are light and five dark. I can't put two different colors on the floor. This stuff is also hard to work with....many gaps have to be filled in and then you have to clean off the mastic after it has dried to make room for the grout...tedious job number 2. So plan a whole day putting the puzzle together, another whole day cleaning it, and a third whole day grouting. The way the edges of these sheets are designed are more of a hassle...I wish they were just as straight as they could get them...these v edges don't fit together very well....uggg.
Tile colors need more quality controlTiles arrived quickly. I received two boxes. Unfortunately the colors of the tiles in box 1 were completely different than those in box 2. Box 1 looked like online image of mini sea green but Box 2 tiles were more brown than green. I have attached images of the two tiles side by side so you can see the clear difference. I understand that colors will vary somewhat but this is crazy.

We should have opened all the boxes - our badWe had our pebble tile installed. We loved the sample but not all the mosaic sheets were the same quality. This is natural stone and we should have anticipated anomalies. Some of the sheets were made up of pea gravel type stones and the installers did the best they could placing these in areas with minimal sight line exposure. We didn't know the problem until it was completely installed. It's not worth the expense of ripping it all out. If we had laid out all the mosaic sheets ahead of time we would have sent it back. The samples were lovely and we assumed it all would be that nice. Our bad.

Beware - Buy a sample Then buy whatever you need FASTWas to be Used for a bathroom - The stones changed drastically from when the sample was ordered to when we purchased a month later. The stone's color, sharpness and flatness all changed which didn't resemble the sample whatsoever. Image below shows the sample on right and what was sent as product on left. Color, contrast, size of individual stones and the texture went from smooth to a sharp gravel making it uncomfortable to touch. Installation is difficult. For a shower, make sure the subfloor is flat and make sure the slope is 2-4 times the normal recommended slope as water will not flow as easily towards the drain. Taking extra time for layout is critical as the pieces will show a definitive grout line pattern when not done properly.
