Added Bling to the kitchen!I had a tile pro installer do the work since it was long horizontal lines and I was doubting myself that I could do it plus I did not have a tile saw. I never cut glass before but a standard power tile cutting tool is all that is needed. Fortunately, the granite countertop provided a perfect level for the bottom starting row and using the same spacing of the tile as manufactured it was exactly six rows up without having to shave any pieces except at the microwave. Since the sheets came in 2x4 rows each sheet was cut with two pieces left together side by side. The spacing was matched by small wedges, not the T shape spacers, that the installer had. The thinnest part of the wedge is pushed to the wall and the provided space matched exactly, nice thin grout lines. For grout we used MAPEI Flexcolor CQ in white. It's expensive but flows nice and has quartz in it. Recommended by our installer. The color tiled installed was "Surf" glass and in the light is looked like the perfect color green that the wife wanted. First going up it was looking great but as the wall filled up it started to look bluest. After the install and the color looked not quite right. When I turned on the microwave stove light, an incandescent bulb, it was close the the wanted color. I had undercounter LED lighting that was about 4000K in color, a more bluest color. The next day I changed the LED lighting to warm white, 2700K, and it is perfect. Since the edge of the glass is exposed the light refracts inside the glass. With a tile surrounded with grout, the light only comes into the glass on the face of it and the reflected light is different. If you get samples, as we did, to pick a color or shade, place black tape around the edges for a more accurate color. Just note that all glass has a green tint to it and the color is generated by the color backing on the tile. The product is of excellent quality with smooth edges all around. Very happy with the product
Wonderful product and customer service! My shipment came within a few days of order, packed carefully, and in perfect condition. The tile is a beautiful sea glass and we had no trouble with the installation. I over ordered and they are gladly accepting the extra box back for a refund.

Surf glass subway tiles created beautiful backsplash!I purchased these tiles and had a professional install them for use in our kitchen backsplash. The tiles were identical in color and I used them in the classic staggered pattern (like bricks are staggered). I am thrilled with the result and always receive compliments on the color and finished look.

Good product and customer serviceFully backpainted tiles have a mesh attached for easy installation. But if you are doing a brick pattern layout, then you will need to cut each row apart. I ended up cutting all the tiles apart, as I wanted a consistant 1/8" space, and it was slightly less. A great product, easy to install and although I have yet to grout, does not scratch easily at all. I dropped a couple tiles and they stayed intact. Also great customer service.
